Nestled in Oslo's charming Frogner district, Camillas Hus holds a special place in my heart after a recent Easter getaway. Stepping into this historic building felt like a journey back in time, yet the modern amenities and exceptional service provided a truly unforgettable experience. The hospitable concierge made us feel right at home, offering valuable city sightseeing tips and ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff, including a particularly engaging Portuguese gentleman who added an extra touch of warmth to our stay. We were delighted to find ourselves in the largest room, complete with elegant decor and luxurious antique furnishings. The spacious bathroom with both a shower and tub, heated floors, and tasteful vintage accents made our stay even more remarkable. The attention to detail and personal care exhibited by the staff truly elevated our experience. We appreciated the peace and quiet of the hotel despite its central location, ensuring a restful night's sleep on the comfortable beds. The hotel's proximity to notable attractions like Akershus Fortress and National Theatre, as well as shopping hotspots Karl Johan Gate and Aker Brygge, added to the allure of our stay. The convenience of having a tour desk, luggage storage, and free WiFi throughout the property made exploring Oslo a breeze.Camillas Hus truly stands out for its combination of history, hospitality, and top-notch service. Whether you're a solo traveler or with companions, seeking a slice of Norwegian charm, this gem in Oslo is sure to make your stay a memorable one.
